You can find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t drawn to. With regards to lasers and intense skincare treatments I am one of those people who likes to get a professional to work their magic on me, as opposed to attempting to become one by getting a kit from my local drug store. I visited a clinic in my hometown that had recently opened for some treatments.
I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it was fair to say I wasn’t going to waste anymore money. Strike one. FYI – I am aware people who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian skin types) and I have been told it requires lots of sessions to view results. I have been told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Laser Hair Removal) that IPL will not work with Indian skin and it has temporary benefits. It basically isn’t the most effective laser for too long term hair-free fuss.
The next time round, I went for a YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her distance to making me think she was doing us a favour. If in reality, her what are known as YAG laser was much more of an IPL treatment then anything else. I can tell you it made my hair a bit fainter, but nothing drastic – and I had at the very least 6 sessions. Once again, I wasted not merely my period in travel but a lot of money! Strike two.
For the past 5 months roughly I actually have been visiting a lovely laser technician, who lucky for me personally, is located in the same county as me! I needed told her all the problems We have had in the past with hair laser removal and she provided her honest and professional advice. She explained in my opinion that IPL isn’t extremely effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It works whilst you are getting it done but give it per year roughly and you may see your hair growth coming back again. The penetration in the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t concentrate on the hair follicle to the extent being a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I used to be getting before visiting her. That is when she did a little digging (in their spare time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I had been getting done was more much like IPL when compared to a proper YAG laser. It absolutely was even more of a diode – basically which means I wasn’t going to get exactly the same results has I would have with a proper or should I say real YAG laser!
She then told me about her laser. The laser she uses is the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She is an expert educator/trainer for this laser and has been around the market for 20 years – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used for hair elimination of hair on all skin types, light to dark. One of the primary benefits of this laser is the fact its melanin absorption is quite low. Melanin is exactly what gives your skin layer it’s colour. The better melanin halbfl have, the darker the skin and vice versa. Due to it’s low absorption of it, there is very little risk of your skin to get damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Because of this the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I have to go with clean, lotion/potion free, make-up free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, which means you need to shave in advance (everywhere you want to target!). This can be so the laser can arrive at the folicle without any hair strands getting in how.
We have learnt the hard way by accidentally having some perfume on my neck as well as the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this can be common and may happen.
During Laser Treatment
Throughout the laser session, the part/s of the body are sectioned off (as you can see in the picture above). The 永久脫毛 is utilized with the air-conditioning type cooling tube which is hovered over the area of the epidermis as it is getting lasered – this is which means you don’t experience the heat. The sensation of getting this done is like someone poking you using a needle. Depending on your pain threshold and the region you might not feel it whatsoever.
